Gear and Class Info 1/28/2008

Since I figured not too many people are checking out our forums, I would just post this here.

We have a lot of lower level armor that is yours in you need it in the Guild Bank. We are constantly trying to refresh this supply and anything that you think another guildy may be able to use, feel free to donate it.

As well, I have been asked what gear is better. A lot of people look for gear around level 60 and so on. When you hit level 58 you should start questing in the outlands given you have Burning Crusade. If you do not then you should get some PvP armor fromt he Champions' Hall in Old Town, Stormwind. As well, when you reach level 70 you should PvP and get the Gladiator gear from there. It is some great gear and for just some fun killing Horde. All of that gear is Epic! You can use that gear while waiting to do instances and raids.

We are working on getting more 70s and such to help with getting each other and everyone geared. We have quite a few people looking forward to hitting Kara and Heroics. But we need everyone's help. That means to get some of that PvP gear and get used to a common role you can play in a dungeon. Common roles are as follows (everyone is different though):

Druid
Tank
Heal
DPS/CC (Entangle, Sleep, Off-Tank)

Hunter
DPS/CC (Trap, Off-Tank[Pet])

Mage
DPS/CC (Sheep, Frost Nova)

Paladin
Heal
Tank
DPS/CC (Off-Tank)

Priest
Heal
DPS/CC (Mind-Control, Fear)

Rogue
DPS/CC (Sap)

Shaman
Heal
Tank
DPS/CC (Earthbind Totem, Off-Tank)

Warlock
DPS/CC (Enslave, Fear, Off-Tank[Voidwalker])

Warrior
Tank
DPS/CC (Off-Tank)

Thank you for taking your time to read this. I figured it should help some people. If you have any questions please get in touch with one of your Guild Masters or post on Forums.

Recruiting Information 1/15/2008

What is your big goal in WoW? Is it to hit 60? Maybe hit 70? Our largest goal is achieving a family tight friendly guild. As well, we are trying to get more 70s together to hit 5-man instances, heroics, and hopefully soon 10-mans and 25-mans. A biggey for us would be to hit Karazhan. It is a very well known 10-man instance with some ferocious world-boss monsters. If we are able to hit it, we will insure that, with everyone help of course, we will get everyone geared as best we can.

The new expansion is said to come out in November of 2008 now. This means we have plenty of time to get everyone up and going. Hopefully we will be able to bring our guild into the new expansion well geared and prepared for what Blizzard has planned to throw at us. And knowledge of raids now, means ease with lvl 80 raids.

We are also constantly putting up some new information on the website. We would like to get the website to a more comfortable look and feeling so everyone can use it and find information easily. If you have suggestions, questions, or comments, please use our forums. Forums are the best way to get in touch with people.

Thanks and please have an enjoyable WoW experience with Dragons of Abyss.

Forum Registration 1/14/2008

A few people have been signing up for our forums! Forums are a great way of getting in touch with people and being able to get advice and set things up. We are trying to get everyone a little more active on our forums. I know people think this is only a hassle doing everything out of the game, but in reality you can do it from wherever you have internet rather than needing the program itself. Anyway, we are trying to get people to sign up and we have around five now, and are looking for more. We do ask that you use your mains name from WoW (if they are in guild) or the main one you have in the guild. Thank you!

Add-ons Needed 1/8/2008

I have been noticing that no one has downloaded or used the add-ons that are necessary for smooth gameplay and runs through dungeons and whatnot. If people would at least download the ThreatMeter we should be jsut fine. Our GroupCalendar could help a ton as well. We are still trying to get things to work smooth and fast for maximum efficiency. The more we are able to help the sooner our guild will grow and prosper. Thanks for all the co-operation. Please remember to sign-up and try to use our forums, too.
